SO....I have one of the best sister-in-laws there is. Way back when (some time earlier in the year) she had asked me if I wanted to go see the New Kids on the Block at the Arena here in Charlotte. I said yeah I would love too, however, when she got the tickets, they were pretty expensive so I told her no.... I was pretty bummed about this. The New Kids were my FAVORITE all time band when I was growing up. Well my birthday rolled around and Carrie (my sis-in-law) and my brother gave me tickets! I was STOKED!

The concert was last night 10/30/08. It was the best concert I have been too. (mind you I have not been to a lot but I have been to my fare share) They seemed like they had never stopped performing. I remember watching a video of one of their old concerts over and over and over when I was younger. It was even better than that!

I had to work yesterday, of course, but I meet my mom and Carrie and a couple of Carrie's friends downtown at Rock Bottom.

Well they had a long wait so we decided to go to Fox & hound. Good food and good company. After dinner we walked to the arena. This homeless black man came up to us and asked, "what is up with the influx of white women down here?" This was one of the funniest things that I have heard someone say. But we gave him a dollar and went on our way! We got to the arena and there were about 20,000 people there, 15 of which were men. HA HA HA

Anyway, we got to our seats, floor row O seats 9-12. These happen to be VERY good seats! the concert was great start to finish. The very middle was my favorite!!! They came off the stage and down to floor level on a platform with a piano on it. The platform spun and we got to see them UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. They were about 3 feet from us! it was FABULOUS! I didn't realize just how FINE they really are. All of them have aged very nicely especially Donnie and Jordan! Yummy!!!

I will have to say this was one of the best birthday presents I have ever received. Thanks Carrie and Danny. Thanks Momma for going with us!

Starting out...

Well hello all...or the very few of you that will read this.



I just want to start by saying that I have never been a blogger, however, I thought I would start one. SO...here goes.



This all started today at work. I was talking to some of my friends, Rachel and Michelle, about there blogs. Well Rachel said "why dont you blog?" I said I have no idea...but I kinda lied. I know why I dont blog. Im not a good writer and I dont think anyone will care about what I write. But...with that said I felt like screw it I will start one. So here it is! Simply Me...



I am going to try to keep up with this on a regular basis but I know me and I will slack a lot. But I think I will like this if I write about things I like...
